Not so with the trans-Saturnian planets - Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Eris, etc - that are out of our direct experience. Pretty much everyone has seen the seven classical planets in the sky - the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn - and thus established an instinctive understanding and relationship with those bodies.
